After the Italian government made it mandatory for people to present a Super Green Pass as proof that they have been vaccinated against COVID-19, or that they have recovered from the illness, a man wanted to obtain the jab creepily by using a fake arm to trick medical workers.
The funniest part of the story is that the man is also a medical practitioner. He is a dentist by profession.
The dentist offered up a rubber foam or a silicone arm arm in an attempt to evade the actual shot. But luck ran against him as Nurse Filippa Bua immediately noticed that something was amiss.
When the nurse was interviewed by Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera, she said “When I uncovered the arm, I felt skin that was cold and gummy, and the color was too light.”
The nurse was convinced that there is no way the man would have succeeded in getting the jab from her because his arm was too suspicious.
She initially thought the man actually had a real prosthetic arm, and that he had mistakenly offered her the wrong arm.
The man wore a covering on his torso with two rubber foam arms attached. The rubber foam was cold because there was no blood circulating to it.
When the nurse asked the man a question regarding the authenticity of his arm, he admitted that it was not his real arm.
The man added that he wanted to obtain a COVID-19 vaccine certificate which he needed for his work without receiving the shot.
However, this was viewed as a funny incident, and no charges were brought against the dentist.
