Almost 70 people have lost their lives due to the devastating wildfires ripping through the mountains of Algeria. 28 soldiers working to put out the flames also lost their lives.
President Abdelmadjid Tebboune announced that the country would enter a three-day mourning period starting today.
However, lots of residential areas have been evacuated to prevent more loss of lives.
