Yesterday, Dwayne Johnson, AKA The Rock took to his Instagram page to share a video of the moment he gave a truck to Oscar Rodriguez, a Navy veteran.
We believe The Rock is a role model not just because he gifted someone with a truck, but because of who he is, what he believes in, his struggle, his aspirations, his uncountable good deeds to others, etc. No wonder, he is the most followed American man on social media worldwide.
The Rock decided to surprise Oscar by gifting him his own custom truck because he was moved by his story.
In the video, Rodriguez could be seen reading a note which was written by The Rock. The note reads: “Thank you for your service brother, enjoy your new truck.”
Rodriguez was so overwhelmed that he immediately collapsed to his knees in tears before getting up and throwing his arms around the wrestler turned Hollywood star.
According to the Star, he’d invited fans to a screening of his new film Red Notice and wanted to do something “BIG… something MASSIVE… something unforgettable for one fan.”
Rodriguez was the lucky fan. The Rock wrote: “I’ll give away my personal custom truck as the gift. My baby. “I gathered as much information as I could about everyone in the audience and ultimately, Oscar’s story moved me.“
