After having a week of temperatures above 40C (107 Fahrenheit) and vegetation is bone-dry, Greece is battling a huge wildfire and has carried out mass evacuations overnight in the northern suburbs of Athens.
Firefighters from neighboring European countries such as Cyprus, Romania France, Switzerland, and Sweden have been deployed to assist Greece, as thousands have fled their homes near the Greek capital.
