COVID-19 test is no longer required in some districts in Germany.

With the new corona rules in Brandenburg, the test obligation has been lifted and unvaccinated citizens in three districts no longer need tests to visit restaurants, hotels, theatres, or swimming pools.

The districts include Havelland, Potsdam-Mittelmark and the Uckermark.

The maximum number of visitors for a test obligation at open-air events and concerts has risen from 500 to 1000.

According to Brandenburg’s Health Minister Ursula Nonnemacher has called on Covid-19 patients with long-lasting complaints (Long Covid or Post Covid) to seek rehabilitation treatment.

She said, “We want to educate and make the offers better known because often those affected do not even know that they can use rehabilitation services.”
