Before same-sex marriage was legalized all over the United States of America, all online dictionaries defined marriage as:
“A legally accepted relationship between a man and a woman in which they live together, or the official ceremony that results in this.”
Now marriage has been re-defined in at least all American dictionaries as:
“A legally accepted relationship between two people in which they live together, or the official ceremony that results in this.”
The 37-year-old and eight-time world boxing champion, Manny Pacquiao, has apologized for describing homosexuals as worse than animals. He said:
“If men mate with men and women mate with women, they are worse than animals.”
His remarks did not come without criticism in his country, Philippines. In his apology in a video post on Instagram, he said:
“I’m sorry for comparing homosexuals to animals. Please forgive me for those I’ve hurt.” …”I love you all with the love of the Lord. I am praying for you.”
Pacquiao added that he was not condemning homosexuals but was standing by his Christian faith.
Actually, judging by the bible, Pacquiao, who is hoping to contest in the next presidential election in the Philippines, would be correct in opposing gays and gay marriage.
Now that the word “marriage” has been given a new meaning in at least American dictionaries, are Americans going to re-write the bible and insert something else in Leviticus 20:13 to support their interpretation of gays or gay marriage?
Pacquiao lost to the undisputed champion, Floyd Mayweather who is crazy about having expensive cars, shortly before Mayweather retires from boxing.
Just a day after the professional boxer, Manny Pacquiao apologized for comparing gays to animals, he seems not to be happy with himself for apologizing publicly.
He has again proved that he is not backing down from his stance against gays by posting a very strong anti-gay verse from the bible on his Instagram page. The posted verse states that homosexuals should be killed. The quoted verse is Leviticus 20:13 which states that:
“If a man has sexual-relations with a man as one does with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They are to be put to death, their blood will be on their own heads.”
Due to fear that gay supporters may have turned against him, Pacquiao decided to include other verse from the bible with reference to his present situation and the verse is Luke 6:22-23 which says that:
“Blessed are you when people hate you, when they exclude you and insult you and reject your name as evil, because of the Son of Man. Rejoice in that day and leap for joy, because great is your reward in heaven. For that is how their ancestors treated the prophets.”
