53-year-old Debbie Bosworth (a white woman) was sentenced to 2 years probation for embezzling $238,000.
The very next day in the same court in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, 51-year-old Karla Hopkins (a black woman) was sentenced to 18 months in prison for embezzling $40,000.
Prosecutor James Gutierrez was the same assistant district attorney who prosecuted both women. The judges in both cases, Hollie Gallagher and Rick Bell are White.
