In a video that has gone viral on the internet, a Nigerian diplomatic agent was arrested, manhandled, and humiliated by a group of Indonesian policemen.

One of the men could be seen pressing his head seriously against the car seat while he was pinned down by others, and he was shouting “I can’t breath” “my neck, my neck” (16 times) See video below the post.

The Nigerian Government has summoned Usra Harahap, the Indonesian ambassador to Nigeria, over the alleged assault.

The ambassador explained what he understood happened and apologized unreservedly on behalf of the Government of Indonesia.

The incident is against international law and the Vienna Conventions governing diplomatic and consular relations between states.
