Former President Donald Trump has previously sued Facebook, Twitter, Google, and their CEOs for banning him from their social media.

However, Trump and his attorneys have filed for a preliminary injunction against Twitter, asking the federal judge in the District Court in Miami to force Twitter to temporarily reinstate his account so that he can start tweeting immediately before the final judgment in court.

Since Trump was banned from Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube, he has been primarily reaching his supporters through interviews and emails. Trump has almost 90 million followers on Twitter.

Trump was banned from Twitter following the violent Capitol riot by a pro-Trump mob. Trump is believed to have incited the mob.

Twitter said it permanently suspended Trump’s account due to the risk of further incitement of violence.

Before finally banning him, the social media giant has warned Trump on several occasions to desist from using its platform in promoting “misleading information” and “glorifying violence.”

Trump launched his own social media platform called TRUTH Social.

His rhetorics at rallies and in interviews, on Twitter, and in formal speeches are all aimed at inciting violence and dividing Americans. Hence The New York Times calls him The Profanity President.
