The “Justice for J6” rally is hosted by Matt Braynard, who worked for Donald Trump’s campaign as director of data and strategy in 2016.
However, several Republican lawmakers are not enthusiastic about the idea of holding a rally on behalf of people who have been charged with crimes in connection to the January 6 insurrection.
The top leaders in the Republican party are wondering when Trump will stop making hate speeches that are geared towards tossing fuel on a combustible situation?
Trump released a statement supporting the cause of the Justice for J6 movement. Trump said:
“Our hearts and minds are with the people being persecuted so unfairly relating to the January 6th protest concerning the Rigged Presidential Election,”
Trump added that “In addition to everything else, it has proven conclusively that we are a two-tiered system of justice. In the end, however, JUSTICE WILL PREVAIL.”
