Former President Donald Trump who is believed to be a racist was defeated by Joe Biden, who is now the President of the United States of America. Trump was deemed to be a racist after the House of Representatives passed a resolution to condemn his comments about Democratic congresswomen. The resolution which passed 240-187 described his comments as “racist.”

While millions of votes were yet to be counted, Trump declared victory by saying: “We were getting ready to win this election. Frankly, we did win this election.” He also took to Twitter to further declare his fake election victory by saying he won this election “by a lot.”

When Trump discovered he had lost the presidential election, he disagreed with the election results and decided to go to court in most U.S states, but he later withdrew his charges in Michigan, Georgia, Pennsylvania, and Nevada.

Americans flooded the streets in cities like New York and Washington to celebrate Biden’s win, with large crowds gathering in Times Square and near the White House to loudly mark Mr. Trump’s defeat. Trump automatically joins the list of nine one-term presidents in American history who ran for reelection and lost.

With Joe Biden’s victory in the U.S 2020 Presidential election, Donald Trump has become the first president to lose his reelection bid since 1992, when President George H.W. Bush lost to Bill Clinton.

The outcome of the election is largely believed to have been determined by the fact that instead of uniting the country, Trump was promoting division and hatred among Americans.

After losing the election, Trump got frustrated and continues to incite violence on social media. This led to his ban from all major social media platforms. Thus after ruling for only four years, Trump’s legacy is characterized by two impeachments and being banned from all major social media.

After alleging lots of conspiracy theories and claiming that the election was stolen, dozens of lawsuits filed by Trump and his lawyers got tossed out of both state and federal courts due to lack of evidence. Still, Trump ordered his followers in a rally on January 6 2021 to go to the Capitol, and disrupt the certification of Biden’s victory. Finally, Trump refused to attend his successor’s inauguration ceremony.

Trump sued Twitter and asked a judge to accord him permission to tweet. However, this yielded no positive result, and Trump decided to start his own social media known as Truth Social.
