Everybody already knows that former U.S President Donald Trump is fond of telling lies and often trying to mislead his supporters, but is he a fraudster? New evidence shows that Trump has been involved in potential fraud.

Is Trump a fraudster

The New York State Attorney General has filed a motion to compel testimony and obtain documents from Trump and two of his children concerning a series of major new fraud allegations against them.

According to the motion, the Trump Organization gave series of misrepresentations to financial institutions including the IRS on a series of major properties. Trump lied to banks and tax officials. The Trump Org claimed that an apartment was worth $25 million while also offering it to Ivanka Trump for $8 million.

They also lied about the size of Trump’s personal triplex apartment in Trump Tower in order to obtain favorable tax rates and loans.

According to the New York AG Letitia James “For more than two years, the Trump Organization has used delay tactics and litigation in an attempt to thwart a legitimate investigation into its financial dealings.”

“Thus far in our investigation, we have uncovered significant evidence that suggests Donald J. Trump and the Trump Organization falsely and fraudulently valued multiple assets and misrepresented those values to financial institutions for economic benefit.”

However, Trump, his daughter Ivanka, and his son Don Jr. have all been subpoenaed.
