Denton Divisional Police Officer in Lagos State, Nigeria, CSP Adegoke Atilade, has been redeployed by the Lagos State Police Command.
Officer Atilade who is a married man allegedly had an office escapade with a 29-year-old woman, Jennifer Madueke who is his side-chick.
Atilade discovered that his pistol has been stolen after his girlfriend with whom he allegedly made love in his office had departed.
However, it is not clear exactly where the embattled officer has been redeployed, but the Nigerian police command has released a statement stating that:
“In the interest of fairness and justice, the Commissioner of Police, CP Hakeem Odumosu, has ordered an independent, thorough and unbiased investigation into the case.“
“Members of the public are hereby assured that appropriate actions will be taken against anyone found culpable at the conclusion of the ongoing investigation such that at the end, justice would have been served,“ the statement added.
